I’m Carolina Carriel, a Brazilian photographer based in Brussels.

My work is centered on people, identity, and real moments. Through photography, I seek to create images that go beyond aesthetics, revealing presence, emotion, and authenticity.

I specialize in portrait photography and visual storytelling. My approach is rooted in creating a safe and natural space where people can feel comfortable in front of the camera. Many of my clients arrive feeling shy or unsure about being photographed, and my role is to guide them through an experience where they can reconnect with their image and see themselves with more confidence, strength, and beauty.

A large part of my work focuses on women and female entrepreneurs, helping them build a visual identity that reflects who they truly are. I believe photography can be a powerful tool for self-recognition and empowerment.

Beyond commissioned work, I also develop personal photographic projects exploring themes such as immigration, work, identity, and social diversity. These projects reflect my interest in documenting real stories and the different realities that shape people’s lives.
